Rare English porcelain tea service, stamped Royal Albert, Crown China, circa 1925.
This service consists of 6 cups and saucers, 1 cake plate, 6 cake plates, 1 bowl and 1 milk jug.
The cups all have a number next to the stamp: 6355
Cup diameter: 8.8 cm
Cup height: 6.5 cm
Saucer diameter: 13.7 cm
Milk jug height: 10.3 cm
Bowl diameter: 13.6 cm
Bowl height: 7.4 cm
Cake plate dimensions: 15.3 x 15.3 cm
Cake plate dimensions: 23 x 24.2 cm
The entire service is in very good condition, with no breakage or cracks. The only small flaw to note is a small chip in the blue paint on the edge of a cake plate, previously masked with black paint (see photo). Tiny traces of wear may be visible on the gilding in particular, but given the overall condition of the set, it is highly likely that this service has rarely been used. See and enlarge the photos for
